Honestly! It is better of calling it Tabaco Albay rather than city. As it was commercially established and peaceful those days.... I am coming for a holiday in December together with my family and we would like to visit this orphanage and bring back photos and have some time to share with the children to show our members and parishioners in Australia. I have their number on a letter from them but I have a hard time contacting them. This orphanage is run by the Sisters of St John the Baptist. Also we are arriving in Legaspi and we would like to see Mayon volcano then go to the orphanage then go to the camsur water resort in Naga. What transportation is available to take us from the airport to a tour of Mayon and then to tabaco to have a day in the orphanage and then travel to Camsur and from there take our plane back to Manila. I was there for just a week. The first thing that turned me off were the banners, streamers, overhead electrical wires, and the like. I know this city is very popular during the Holy Week. The local government should strive to make the city a real tourist stop; it has lots of potentials. I think you can market it more by getting or taking nice shots of the city itself and a more clearer picture. Say have a photo of the minucipal building and the park , the church in itself and try to show the beauty of it. As for the old park that was ROCAMOTE...when I was growing up we used to go there a lot, i had a lot of good memries of that place, too bad you guys can't put a name to it.
