Her name is Felishia(not sure of the spelling). Her mother was a Flipina, and her father was from India. He died as a result a military accident. She had two older brothers. When she was about 3 or 4 she was drugged and taken to Cebu by her mothers brother. There, she got separated from her uncle, and has never seen any of her family since then. I was born in Ormoc so really an Ormocana. In one photo I could see where we used to live, San Pedro St but now it's the Superdome. Then we moved to Maraviles,and built a house there. Got married to an Australian,and been living in Oz for 28 yrs. I always manage to visit Ormoc every 3 or 4 years, the last time was October 2007. I would be visiting Ormoc again in 2011, God willing. I love my hometown, even if I live abroad. It's different from other places. It's a unique city with big shopping center and places of interests and still manages to attract tourists and businesses. I finished my High School at St Peter's, class 1961, then finished college at Visayas Agricultural College and taught elementary grades in Liloan, Ormoc and then Cogon Central School until 1981. But at least it brings back the memories of the people who were able to visit and stayed in ormoc. I assure you that ormoc is much more beautiful than the pictures in this site. You have to see ormoc for yourself and ormoc has open many establishments for the past 2 years. New establishments include a mini-mall infront of gaisano (with mister donut, greenwhich, and small shops), another is hbc, a new dunkin donut branch infront of gaisano, a shop (I forgot the name) which sells HAVAIANAS Slippers(so cooool), a springwater bottling owned and run by Sabin Larrazabal, lots of new spa, and guess what, we now have a direct flight of PAL from Ormoc to Manila! Last time I visited Ormoc City was september last 2007. Things have change, for my beloved home town, thier are a lot of people now. A long time ago specailly during sunday afternoon Rizal St. was completely empty. I had my elementary and high school days in Saint Peter's College and I had my senior and junoir high school days at Western Leyte College. I miss the days were I would jump from the sea wall of the town plaza (In front of Hotel Don Felipe) going down to the beach (Besides the port of Ormoc). I did it during my elementary days. Now I'm living in Makati Philippines and I'm working for a Canadian Company. I'm planning to leave the country. But Ormoc will always be in my heart where ever life may take me!
