I met her in the 1960's when I visited Subic on several occasions. Her father owned a nightclub on Magsaysay Drive(the main street). At that time her home address was 105 Fendler Street in East Tapinac. We corresponded for a while and I know she eventually got married and... moved to the US. She called me years later and informed me that she was returning to PI permanently. After that, as the years passed, I lost track of her. Graduated from Columban College in high school and 2 years of basic college engineering courses then on to Adamson University in Manila where I finished Mechanical Engineering... joined the US Navy and got stationed in Subic... No traffic like Manila, is that for real? I would love to go there sometime this year with my family. Definitely i will have Subic on top of my list. I just wish the government would take a look at your city and do something with the whole of the Philippines. Our country is dying for change in a lot of things ( Garbage / politics / trffic ). @ least Marikina proper is clean and the people cooperating ( but traffic is near close to Manila ). Someone should tell the president to do something and for the people to clean their own backyard. Looks like Subic is doing a great job. Good job and keep it up Subic! The world is watching!!!!
