We have not been home since April 2005 and miss it terribly. I loved the pictures of Libertad they are better than mine and I have seen so few. Thank you for posting them. Seeing pictures in the grocery store in Guisano brought back wonderful memories too. I remember not being able to find any syrup for pancakes there and smelling my first Durian too.whew!! It is difficult making it another 120 Kilometers to the Gateway Hotel in Surigao before the Ferry Ride. Butuan City is really on the grow, I can tell just by the 6 months from when I was first there....
